Bethel Middle School

All Fall 2017 BHS Freshman please take note: The Freshman Orientation Experience will be held on Wednesday, August 23rd from 8 a.m.-1:45 p.m. in which students will meet school administrators, teachers, counselors, student leaders, and class advisors. Numerous activities will be held throughout the day in order to make the incoming freshman class comfortable with their transition to Bethel High School. A light snack and water will be provided. Bus transportation will also be provided on the orientation days; students will be picked up between 7:20 a.m. and 7:40 a.m. The actual bus routes will be available on the Bethel Public Schools website by Monday, August 21st. A mandatory parent orientation meeting will be held in the evening from 6:30-8 p.m. in the BHS auditorium. More information will be sent home in August. Students will become competent, productive citizens who communicate effectively and who demonstrate the qualities of tolerance, empathy, and self-efficacy. Through educational experiences of collaboration and inquiry, students will be challenged to think critically, be creative, take risks, and be prepared to compete in the ever changing global economy.
